2023/2024 Registration for Elementary Religious Education is Closed. Curriculum was ordered for those signed up and Classes began October 1st. If you missed registration, please call Mary Ann at the Parish Office as soon as possible to see if there is space and resources available.
2023 - 2024 Religious Education CLASSES
The Christian home is a place where children receive the first proclamation of the faith. For this reason, the family home is rightly called “the domestic church,” a community of grace and prayer, a school of human virtues and of Christian charity. CCC 1666
We are pleased to offer a variety of classes to meet the needs of our children and their families this year:
EARLY FUNDAMENTALS:
§ Pre K (ages 4+)/Kindergarten and 1st Grade students begin to learn the essentials of our faith on Sunday mornings from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. (see calendar for dates).
SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION:
§ RECONCILIATION - 2nd graders prepare for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Students participate on Sunday mornings from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. (see calendar for dates). Families will also receive additional curriculum specific to the Sacrament of Reconciliation to be completed at home. The celebration of the Sacrament of 1st Reconciliation is scheduled for the morning of March 9, 2024.
§ CONFIRMATION & 1st Eucharist – 3rd graders (and 4th-5th graders needing to catch up) prepare for the Sacraments of Confirmation AND 1st Eucharist. Elementary students participate on Sunday mornings from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. (see calendar for dates). Families will also receive additional curriculum specific to the Sacraments of Confirmation and 1st Eucharist to be completed at home. The celebration of Confirmation and 1st Eucharist is scheduled for April 21, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. NOTE: 1st Reconciliation is required before receiving Confirmation & 1st Eucharist. If your student has not yet received 1st Reconciliation, please notify Mary Ann or Debbie and sign them up for the Catch-Up (home curriculum) option for 1st Reconciliation in addition to Confirmation & 1st Eucharist.
The celebration of Confirmation and 1st Eucharist is scheduled for April 21, 2024 at 2:30 p.m.
v LIVING OUR FAITH Class:
§ 4th & 5th graders already Confirmed continue to be strengthened in their faith. Students participate on Sunday mornings from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. and will study the scriptures using curriculum that pairs with the Breakthrough Bible they received previously. (If needed a new Breakthrough Bible can be purchased.)

Adult Faith Formation
All adults are invited to join us for Adult Faith Formation On the Sundays listed below from 9:15 – 10:15 a.m. In the Joe Downs Memorial Hall. This semester discussion topics will be based on the book Foundations for Discipleship by Curtis Martin & Edward Sri
